had to turn Miller off this morning
I guess the concept of innocent until proven guilty only goes for liberals Elaine likes. Yeah I think Vick is most likely guilty. Anyone that follows the NFL already knew Vick was not a very good guy. So I'm not surprised at all. If you want to go after his endorsement deals, because he’s a bad guy it’s your to free speech to write them and complain.

However the NFL has a negotiated contract with the players union on how to treat players in the criminal justice system. I expect the NFL to treat him the same as any other player. Not preferentially bad just because he committed a crime that happens to be your big bugaboo. So much I guess for Union negotiations for Elaine. I'm sick of calls for people in the Entertainment industry to lose there jobs without due process. Without even being convicted of a crime.

I also don't get Elaine’s insistence that police are often suspended when under indictment. Yeah there's a big difference between having a potential criminal enforcing the law and a potential criminal throwing a football 16 Sundays a year. The whole argument was silly and offensive to my intelligence.

Kudos to the one caller that stood up (not for Vick) but for due process.

1. Elaine is pretty lame but ...
.... Vick has admitted to breeding and selling pit bulls and to a dog lover
like Elaine that is more than enough to want the guy's ass.

3. I don't listen anymore when she subs. I don't know if I just heard
some episodes that weren't that good or if it is just me but I don't even bother.

I miss Stephie when she is gone. :(

I also flip the chanel as soon as that story comes on. I can't stand to even hear about it.

6. He may well be suspended in the near future.
The NFL security participated in the investigation and if the commissioner decides to he could suspend him pending the outcome of the trial. Pacman Jones is suspended right now until his legal problems are settled.

8. Call me a cockeyed sentimentalist but animal torture is a silly"bugaboo" of
mine, too. I'm funny that way.

9. He hasn't been convicted of anything ...
... and should be allowed to play - but I can't see how it isn't going to affect the performance of the team around him.

11. It's a conspiracy charge...
so, if one of his co-defendents is seen as guilty, they're all guilty.

You also can't be a property owner, have long-term illegal activities taking place on that property, and claim ignorance to get off free. It doesn't work that way.

It doesn't look good for him and he should get his ducks in a row, as it were.

10. animal torture is a serious crime
but no more serious than spousal abuse. He should be treated exactly the same as those players that have been accused of spousal abuse.
