I saw a really offensive ad for Kleenex this morning

Anyone seen it yet where a young black woman is on a bench talking to a consoling older white man, because, of course, young black women spend all their time consoling themselves with older white men, but I digress.

She talks about losing 30 friends in "the storm" and at the end of the ad Kleenex tells us how much they care and of course she is using their environmentally unfriendly product throughout the whole ad.


How fortuitous for corporate america the loss of life in Katrina must be living as we do in such a tasteless and ironic age .

I know the good old days never really were but hell at least companies had more taste than to openly exploit tragedy for profit.
