National Review Utters Despicable Lie "Left Doesn't Protest Darfur Genocide"

What fucking world are these cretins living on? One apparently in which "the left" "doesn't care" about "black people being killed in Darfur" because, quote (and this is the best part) "because Arabs are behind it".

"Where are the demonstrations by the so-called Western human-rights groups outside the offices of the Arab League?"

The best fiction writer on Earth couldn't make up shit this good. And neither could the most ignorant. It's been a pretty obvious fact for a long time that Conservative Republicans live in an ideological bubble in which they are sealed from the real world, and keep muttering to themselves that "The only reason George isn't popular anymore is because he hasn't thrown out the Mexicans". But this really takes the case. Where was the National Review Online when Jesse Jackson and various Democratic Representatives were being arrested outside of the Sudanese Embassy back in 2004? Or the doznes of national demonstrations that were coordinated alongside anti-war marches? It's amazing how on one hand Republicans like to sneer like a bunch of schoolchildren about how liberals want to protect civilians in "Darfur", but we want to "surrender in Iraq", and then they turn back around and claim we're "not talking about Darfur". Are they fucking retarded?

If I remember correctly, Republican crank Senator Arlen Specter called Joe Hoeffel's (his Dem opponent in 04') arrest during such a protest back in 2004 a "publicity stunt"?

Guess he was wrong. It must have not happened at all. Fucking Republican idiots.

1. The National Review promotes genocide in Iraq.
So it's kind getting upset because Hitler had some unflattering things to say about Roosevelt.
