Streisand donates to Clinton, Edwards, and Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Barbara Streisand, who is often an outspoken critic of President Bush, said Monday she will contribute to the three frontrunners vying for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Streisand said she will donate $2,300 -- the maximum amount allowed by the Federal Election Commission -- to Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina.

"I'm very excited about the strength of the Democratic field for the 2008 presidential election, and I'm looking forward to a lively and healthy primary debate that discusses the key issues facing this country," Streisand said in a statement.

"As the conversation continues, I may make contributions to other candidates as well,"

I like them.

She's been an extremely generous donor to the Democratic Party for a hell of a long time. Thank you for that, Ms. Streisand.

Also, she can sing like nobody's business.

I know old-school Republican curmudgeons who HATE Barbara Streisand's politics but listen to her music because nobody sings like that anywhere.
