Democrats too. Kind of like they don't want to make the King mad or something?

Anyone else notice this?

8. All the new found powers that the Republicans insist Bush is entitled to as president
Edited on Thu Jul-12-07 08:03 PM by NNN0LHI
Unitary executive, etc. I don't think they were ever envisioning President Hillary Clinton having those powers some day.

Do you?

13. well
of course they'll fight those powers when a Dem is in office. That's the way it's always worked.

Bush is leaving office. Don't worry.

3. There is something to that
I don't agree on the Democrats, but I do agree on the Republicans - the seem unaware that someday a Democrat will be in the white house.

4. They're trying to walk that fine line between distancing themselves from him, but not alienating the
party's base -- that 29% that support DUH-bya.

6. Republicans are continuing to cover his ass with thier votes while pretending to distance themselves
Their talking points seem sooooo coordinated.

Don't agree with you about the Dems. But the repubs are despicable-- I just dont understand their motives.

7. The Repubs whom I know who think that also believe that jesus is coming back this year.
The only Dem I know who thinks that also thinks Kucinich would be accepted by mainstream America if the "conservative" media would give him a chance.

10. I don't think * has any intentions of leaving office either.......
There'll be a "terra" attack and elections will be postponed indefinitely for reasons of national security.

Or, there will be a "terra" attack after the elections and, for reasons of national security, it won't be safe to the next President to assume his or her office.

Longshot possibility is that Cheney will get tired of being the man behind the curtains, he'll make * disappear or retire or resign thus succeeding to the Office of President. Once President, he'll invoke that executive order that * signed a couple of months ago and that will be all she wrote!

11. I read an article once that said Bush wanted to be the anti-FDR...
to undo the FDR legacy.

I wonder too if he dreams of being in office longer than FDR.

FDR

32 President:

In office
March 4, 1933 – April 12, 1945

18. A third term? 4 more years?
Moveon.org seems to have noticed. https://pol.moveon.org/donate/victory2008.html

But IMO the easiest way to ensure there's not a 3rd term is to

IMPEACH

so I'm not buyin' Moveon.org's message this time.
