They make your skin crawl. And when you can, you step on them. Don't waste emotion on the visceral reaction you have to bugs. Just clean everything they touched.

I suppose as First Lady :puke: she should pay her respects to Lady Bird, but a greater contrast there couldn't be. Lady Bird loved nature, and took steps to beautify and protect. Laura couldn't care less about it.

They don't come much better than Lady Bird, and she was First Lady during a very traumatic time in our nation's history, and did her job beautifully. We owe her so much.

Sending Pickles without sending George is a special insult, especially since W is a former governor of her state.

Don't you think that a former first lady from Texas deserves having a president of the US from HER STATE attend her funeral instead of sending Laura Bush?

I've got no problem with Pickles attending, but I've got a problem with her hubby taking a pass, especially given that he probably is doing everything to avoid being compared to Lyndon Johnson as the most failed war president EVER.
