Before Today's Bush Press Conference: Setting the Bush Record Straight >>
1) An INCREASE in terrorism and a more dangerous world as Al Queda has now decentralized into "franchises" around the world as reported by Richard Engel of NBC News. This is a direct result of overt military action as opposed to a clandestine approach using the CIA. In fact a direct military confrontation is exactly what they wanted to increase their recruitment of more terrorists.

The news reported this morning confirmed by mr. "gut feeling" Chertoff that Al Queda is now stronger than ever, THUS BUSH'S WAR on TERROR is a FAILURE and we are MORE IN DANGER than before 9/11.

2) "If we pull out of Iraq now, it will become a safe haven for terrorists." Richard Engel also relayed that Al Queda leaders said the U.S. attack on Iraq was the greatest gift we could have given them. Why? Because NOW THEY CAN TRAIN FOR TERROR ATTACKS IN AN URBAN SETTING, which they didn't have in Afghanistan. In other words Iraq ALREADY IS a haven and a training ground for terrorists.

3) Why do we have terror threats and actual attacks in Europe when we're "fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here."

4) Chertoff this morning on the Today Show did not mention Iraq ONCE as related to international terrorism. Although Bush calls it the "central front" in the war on terror the REAL area of concern is the Afghan-Pakistan border where - you guessed it - they have SAFE HAVEN. And what is Bush doing about it? As terrorists group there and plan new attacks - NOTHING. NOT A DAMN THING. In fact they recently could have nailed some top Al Queda leaders there but refused!!

5) Resurgence of the Taliban in Afghanistan because Bush pulled the troops off the field there into a war in Iraq where there never were any terrorists to begin with, or WMDs.

You know I could go on and on and on. but I won't. Sheesh, it must be tough these days being a freeper or a conservative...you'd have to be outright insane not to see the obvious.

2. and yet another terror warning tonight that they are trying to sneak Al Quedas into America...
If you don't support the war effort, you will die...that is the message folks. Although I have to say it makes no sense...if we are fighting them over there there should be no discussion of whether we will have to fight them over here.
