3. This is what we've been trying to tell the impeachment naysayers
Edited on Fri Jul-06-07 07:49 PM by Ghost in the Machine
isn't it? The ones who keep repeating the 'we don't have the votes' meme. It needs to be put on the table and out in the open instead of something whispered in the halls, backrooms and around the water cooler. How do you expect to get any support for something if it's not out in the open, available for discussion?

Put it on the table! Build the case, the votes will come. Every House member who votes NOT to impeach and every Senate member (if it gets that far) who votes NOT to convict will have to explain to the American public WHY they stood with the criminals and against our Country and Constitution. Impeachment proceedings, even if it never makes it out of the House, will help us smoke the complicit, enabling snakes out of their holes and into the public light so we can hold them accountable and work to get them voted out of office.

6. We need to keep repeating this, over and over. Every time you see
someone say "we don't have the votes", repeat this. Counter the claims. Make our representatives stand up, on record, and state whether they support criminals and the destruction our Constitution and our Country or if they support us, 'We, The People' who elected them.

Smoke out the enablers, put impeachment on the table!

9. Talking about it is fine
Building support first is the way to go. An impeachment attempt at this point would backfire.

10. That's what I'm saying, pretty much. Put it on the table, get it out in the open
get people talking about it while the investigations are going on.. get in the minds and on the lips of mainstream America, don't keep it as something that is whispered in the hallways and backrooms of Congress and around the water coolers at work.

Build the case and the votes WILL come..

5. The new national poll out is something they can't ignore.
The survey by the American Research Group found that 45 percent support the US House of Representatives beginning impeachment proceedings against Bush, with 46 percent opposed, and a 54-40 split in favor when it comes to Cheney.

7. A long time very right wing poster on Digg said this!!!!
sonofdy

They do not impeach because they know they can't prove their claims. If they had to, most Americans would soon see through them. The "crimes" are far more politically use full as slogans or "bumper stickers". If I were a partisan democrat, i wouldn't want impeachment, it would actualy hurt the dnc in 2008.

This guy is a rabid, Rush, Anne Colter, neo-con, hot air, little green football poster.

Does his line sound familiar?
