"Democracy for America Miami and Miami Veterans for Peace to Take Anti-War Message to the Air This Sunday

Miami, FL: Democracy for America Miami (DFAM) and Miami Veterans for Peace have made reservations with an aerial banner-towing company to bring a message of peace to the tens of thousands of people who will be assembled for this Sunday's Super Bowl. The message, which will read "Bring Our Troops Home Now", will be in the skies above Miami Beach and the Super Bowl stadium area for a two hour period between 11am and 4pm.

Both DFAM and Veterans for Peace feel that it is vitally important to bring the message to as many people as possible. With so many gathered in Miami for this Sunday's Super Bowl, the organizers of these two groups felt that this was an opportunity not to be missed.

"This may be Super Bowl weekend, but the overwhelming majority of Americans are continuing to stand up and voice passionate opposition to President Bush’s escalation", said Democracy for America chair Jim Dean. "We will not be ignored in our commitment to end the occupation and we will prevail."
