Anyone see Nader on Late Edition this morning?
He said that he believed that Gore won the 2000 election and that it was essentially taken from him in Florida. I don't recall ever hearing him make such a clear statement to that effect. Blitzer hustled him off the topic very quickly.

Nader still irritates the hell out of me. I wonder if he regrets all the loss of life that has come from his little political experiment.

3. He also said he had talked with AL Gore about it...
And Gore did not think he lost Florida. Both thought it was stolen.

7. For the love of Pete! Blaming Nader for Iraq?
Rock bottom. Absolute rock bottom.

Gore ran in incompetent campaign and lost to a man who is functionally illiterate. Bush got his war because many Dems crossed over and voted for it.

8. Indirectly, Fuck Yeah - And By the Way Gore WON
If republican funded mr. ego would have stayed home, there would have been even more votes for gore making it even harder for them to steal Florida. BTW Gore won the popular vote. So if the chimp wasn't put in office there would be no war.

FUCK NADAR

"Not a dime's worth of difference."!!!!!! Yep, Gore the Nobel Peace Prize nominee and * the WAR CRIMINAL.

I say let St. Ralph keep investing in those companies he "exposes" and sneak into the fancy house in his brother's name and think we still believe a fucking word he spews.

13. Trying to maintain a false duopoly ...
in America's Political Experiment has disastrous results. It's no wonder you regret the loss of life that comes with that hypocrisy.

14. But he ran, and Gore STILL got more votes.
If a 1% victory can be stolen, so can a 3% victory.

18. The Greens
Edited on Sun Feb-04-07 02:14 PM by otherlander
take votes away from Democrats by running on anti-corporation platforms. It would be better if they could run as Democrats. But they join 3rd parties instead. But then when anti-corporatists try to change the party from within, they get marginalized like Kucinich.

16. I believe it was the Greens who were first to challenge
the results in Ohio.

8. The recount itself was the result of a joint application from the Green and Libertarian parties.

19. Which was really big of them after they took financing from
the Republic Party to foot their campaign bills to begin with. There was a time I could have cut Nader a bit of slack as a candidate but taking funding from the party of corporations while spouting anti-corporate rhetoric and at the same time undermining the most realistic chance we had to get rid of * in 04 just really has soured me on Nader and the Greens.

21. I don't think the Ohio Greens took Republican
money, but I could be wrong.

Either way...Hillary has taken money from the slimiest of Repuke supporters, Rupert Murdoch. It wasn't the Dems who came forward first to challenge Ohio. I think the Greens also stayed the course and continued challenging the election results.

Kerry conceded right away even after saying they had lawyers on board to challenge the results if needed.
