There’s one virus that’s good for us – one that PDA is helping to spread: SiCKO-fever.

PDA activists were out in force in select cities for Saturday’s sneak-preview screenings of Michael Moore’s acclaimed, new documentary – SiCKO – that exposes the crisis of corporate/insurance company greed in healthcare.

PLEASE JOIN US this Friday (June 29) when SiCKO opens in theaters everywhere! At that critical moment when movie-goers exit the theaters asking why we’re the only industrial country without national healthcare, PDA activists will be there passing out leaflets offering a solution: John Conyers’ bill, HR 676, single-payer “Enhanced Medicare for All.”

No political activism is more fun that leafleting receptive movie-goers after they’ve just seen a powerful movie. We’ll be leafleting opening day and after at every theater we can find volunteers, in groups or solo; just download this flyer and head to the theaters.

If you contribute $25 to PDA this week, we’ll print up 500 more “Healthcare for All” palm cards. If you donate $50 to PDA, we can print more than 1,000 of them. Better yet, donate $75 or $100 and we’ll print up thousands.

And if your Congress member is a Democrat or moderate Republican, urge them to co-sponsor Conyers’ HR 676 -- joining 75 in the House who already co-sponsor the bill establishing non-profit national health insurance “Enhanced Medicare for All.”

When you go to the theaters, it’s fun to do so in a group. Contact local and state PDA coordinators to find colleagues.
