Iraq: too luxurious
News Item: Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Conway remarks that Marine bases in Iraq have "more comforts" than they "really need," with amenities getting in the way of the tradition of being prepared to "operate, fight and win in austere environments."

It is not known if he made the remarks in his official 24-room mansion that includes the Rose Room, the Solarium, the Commandant's Study, the Trellis Room, the Children's Room, the Prince Philip Suite. . . .

Or possibly somewhere else.
