at least not from the hosts. Even Chris Matthews had to say Hillary (His Wiley Coyote) is doing a great job.

I know it won't last...next week they will be back to bashing us non stop....but it was pleasant.

(Yes, there were a few bashes but they were by "guests". I'm talking the hosts who usually use Sunday morning to prop up the GOP. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that their two most manly men were shown to be the wimps they are...Rudy for not showing up for the Iraq Study Group and Bush doing whatever it is Cheney tells him to do.)

1. It just makes me wonder what they are up to!!
Maybe they have been reading about all the Dem bashing here on DU
and decided they didn't need to do it today.

And why would they bash the one they want to be nominated??

2. Its time Americans Pulled Together
It is time for all bashing to stop. We have been pulled apart and that is why we are were we are today. Ask any husband and wife and they always don't agree, but for the sake of the family they find middle ground. It's time for this family to pull together. Let's find common ground to stop the destruction of our country. We went to war with the biggest slogan, we want to fight over there instead of over here. Alot of people believed them and they are now finding out that the borders were left open. It doesn't matter which party left them open. They were left open, now it's time for us to determine if we can put aside our differences to secure the borders. After that is done we can discuss the best way to solve the problem. Some of the problem will solve itself with the border in place, but if we do not do that we are going to magnify the problem with a greater influx. Nothing else needs to be discussed at this time. Build the fence, then discuss the issue.

3. "secure the borders"? You're kidding.....right?
They come for the jobs. We know who the employers are. We just need to prosecute the employers.

Why should employers use (and abuse) illegals and then punish the illegals?

You want to stop it in the future you gonna put a fence on BOTH boarders? If not, stop the employer and you'll stop illegal immigration.

I'm completely in favor of stopping the bashing but that won't happen if we can't be honest about what is happening.

Politicians, and apparently most of us, don't want to punish employers so we're gonna keep attracting immigrants from Mexico (and other poorer countries.)
