Mr. Bush, it's time for you to arrest Mr. Cheney....

Dear Mr. President,

The latest transgression of the Vice-President in which his office, and in effect he, declared that he is an extralegal branch of government, and, through his own twisted logic, above the laws of our country, is a clear and present danger to the future of our nation. The very fact that Mr. Cheney declared that his office does not need to comply with a law that you whole-heartedly and fully endorsed is beyond reproach. Furthermore, the Vice-President's actions should be a personal affront to you as the very apex of disloyalty to your own policies.

This is just one more in a series of illegal and dubious actions that Mr. Cheney has perpetuated through the self-elevation of his status as an officer of the United States and joins an ever increasing list that includes:

• Claiming executive privilege to withhold the energy task force names.
  
• Attempting to intervene in the criminal prosecution and conviction of his former chief-of-staff.
  
• Justifying torture in the name of the United States of terrorism suspects and witholding any legal recourse for them.
  
• Preventing the 9/11 Commission from gaining full access to the information they required.
  
  

Mr. Bush, it is time for you to put away any personal loyalty that you still harbor toward the Vice-President. It is time for you to remove him from his office and have him arrested for the high crimes that he has committed. It is up to you to decide whether we are a nation of laws or a nation ruled by a self-annointed despot.

The country awaits your answer.

If you love your country and your children, would you please rescue your son from the clutches of those that do him and our country so much harm. Please try to impress upon him that Dick Cheney is not his friend and any legacy he may have left would be a little less tarnished if he were to renounce this socoipath now.

We know he claims to listen to a higher father, but, Barb, maybe you could talk some sense into him, you've always seemed to have a " way "with him.
Or maybe you could get the whole family together to have an intervention for him, you know, with the twins, Neil, Jeb and maybe some of the others that have been so quiet here lately.

Its up right now. Apparently Bush is in complete agreement with everything Cheney is doing.

Bush and Cheney secretly work together and keep things from Bush's staff and cabinet. Cheney's staff is doing all of the heavy lifting for the Bush Presidential Dictatorship and knows what is going to happen before the WH staff does. I gather the WH staff has to read it in the papers or hear it on the tv.
