When will Bush's approval rating drop below 23%(Nixon) for lowest of all-time?
Once Repubs speak out against Bush in September that the 'surge' has not worked, I believe that Bush will register below 23% approval rating. (Nixon has the 'honor' of the lowest approval rating at 23%).

Anyone believe Bush will dip below 23% before then?

1. Never. If they are able to tamper with elections...
...it stands to reason that they also manipulate polls.

They will never let Boy Wonder go that low. We'll have a war with Iran before that happens....

7. Oh, we would never attack another country unless provoked
Hold on a second while I choke back my laughter over that absurd statement.

When will we attack Iran? As soon as they can drum up what they presume to be a plausible reason.

3. A better question is, When will these falling poll ratings have a practical effect?
As in convincing our congress that impeaching this widely-reviled monster is NOT equvalent to the Rethugs' impeaching a popular president. I truly believe that here an impeachment, even if it does not secure a conviction, will have the effect of galvanizing the public for the Democratic Party rather than the Rethugs determined to let the crimials go on commtting their crimes. As it is, it looks like we just don't care enough to make any real objections.

4. Never. They still have too many people believing in their manufactured fear of 9/11.With Nixon...

it was just sleazy politics and it was much easier to hate the unlikeable Nixon!

6. At the current rate, he will hit 23% by September.
We just got the new 26% figure a few days ago. We've all seen the chart showing the steady decline in his popularity beginning with his inauguration. There is a big tick up on 9/11 and a little tick up when he began his foolish Iraq misadventure. Other than those times, it is a steady, continuous downward line.

Obviously, as people s-l-o-w-l-y come to realize what this administration is really like, Bush's numbers go down, down, down.

I am proud to say that I was in the 9% who thought Bush was a horrible president even on September 12. Now I'm in the 65% who feel the same way today. There will be more.

9. With inflation, he's already there
J/K

But seriously, if one factors in Republican media manipulation, he's probably already way below 23%.

11. We had responsible media in the seventies.
I think in all honesty, Bush's popularity is well below Nixon's.

The only people that like him are mentally ill, stupid, and not paying attention.
