article here:

26% of Americans approve of the job Bush is doing. Following are some comments from members of that minority:
(I also discovered a new word: scewed)

Comment: God bless Bush: one of the only men consistently covered by the media whom I'm proud to say is an authentic American.

Comment: I dislike Bush's handling of the war. I wish he had killed millions of them. I really dislike that he actually is bad enough that idiotic dems like you feel right. The problem is your an idiot. Instead of concentrating on the real issues, you try to paint him as a gory executioner in Texas, without ever mentioning Saddam's killing of millions. that's the problem with you dems, you're so stupid.

Comment: Lets see here, I suppose that many of you think that socialized medicine and an increase in taxes is a good thing right? Also, I prefere that the fighting that has to take place in order to resolve this conflict (terrorism) be somewhere other than here. In case you guys don't know this, the attacks of 9/11 were focused more on a symbol and our economy than the people that they actually killed. We took a big hit that day, and the process of repairing the damage done is a gradual one. I don't think anyone else could have done better.

Comment: HELLO, Did we not read the article on MSN about the media's "secret" campaign donations to the DEmocratic party? The media by its very nature tends to the democrats. There fore the polls are based scewed toward their point of view.

Comment: January 2009 will be the beginning of the next recession. It has already begun. Housing starts down, more forclosures in March/April than ever before! Thank God for our Democratic congress. It hasnt even been a year and already they have managed to turn our economy sour.

2. Do they ever read their posts before hitting Post Message?
I mean, there is usually a spell check that they could use....but sadly no logic check. That one bozo who wished MILLIONS were killed, and then saying we were better than Saddam, who killed millions? Then the other that has the quaint notion that "terrorism" is a conflict, like the War of Jenkins' Ear or something? And finally, the idiot who thinks that it was the DEMS who turned the economy sour. Deluded. That's all I can say.

3. I must admit
that even a NYC cynic like me can be utterly shocked, disheartened and, yes, mildly amused by the abject stupidity and downright dangerous delusion of some of my fellow Americans. I guess for some people it's entirely impossible for them to be, um, ... what's the word? Oh yeah, WRONG!!!!! :eyes:

4. Okay - so, the Clinton economy was Reagan's doing, since it takes a long time
for economic effects to work their way through the system.

And yet, for whatever reason, all current economic gains (if one believes in them) are Shrub's doing, because he's a fucking genius, and have nothing to do with Clinton.

And yet, the current economic malaise is being caused by Dems within months by them taking majority in Congress...

I wouldn't mind the racist rightwing fundy fucks' ideas on their own (though clearly I would disagree) - what pisses me off is that they can't even be consistent in the logic of their idiocy and their ideas.

Okay, so 1980-1988, all economic progress (even though there wasn't any) was caused by the current president.

from 1988-1992, it was caused by the current president with a generous helping of the previous one.

1992-2000, all economic gain was the cause of the two proceeding presidents

2001-current, all economic gain is caused by the current president, all economic disaster was either caused by the previous president, or by the newly elected Democratic majority which hasn't even been able to affect a year's budget yet.

12. Finagle Factor
"The number you add/subtract/multiply/divide the number you have to get the number you want.

Therefore, any successes are to the credit of the Republican Presidency, any failures are to the blame of the Democratic Congress... EVEN IF THERE IS NO DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS.

The good years in the 80's? All Reagan's credit.
Bad years in the 80's? All Democratic Congress fault.
Good years in the 90's? All Republican Congress credit.
Bad years in the 90's? All Clinton's fault.
Continue forever.
If we don't have any Republicans currently in office to give the credit to (Democratic President and Congress) then credit goes to the last Republican to hold office.
If we don't have any Democrats to blame, ah, you get the idea, I'll stop rambling.

5. Of course I had to comment...
Oh, c'mon, people. The man did whatever it took to get us into a war with a nation that was no threat whatsoever, a war that was, from the beginning, unwinnable, and yet there are those who still revere him. This has been one of the most inept, corrupt, and downright evil administrations in U.S. history, and the best you people can do is mouth right-wing propaganda re: "socialized medicine" and poll results about congressional approval ratings? People want healthcare, and they don't see why the wealthy should be getting more wealthy on THEIR suffering. People want an end to the war. But no one, including the Dems in congress, have the guts to fight for it. No wonder the approval rating is so low. Give me a break.

8. I guess they closed it down, I tried to post, but I could not
get through.

Reading the comments, it appeared that almost every RW comment was some semi-lucid attack on someone who made a well reasoned statement. These people really are idiots.

I want to know why all of these armcahir heroes aren't over there winning this thing, after all, reading them, one would thinl Superman and Rambo came together and amnifested itself as a RW keyboard warrior.

Cheap little attacks from the RWer's, little of substance, just punches in the wind from the commfort of the den, (or basement). Itis sad that there are people out there that champion this babboon, sadder still, is that while they cry for more blood, "should have killed millions of them", they would pass out if they they got a paper cut.

As a vet, I want our people home from an unjust, illegal fiasco. If these jugheads want to fight this war, let them, it will just clean up the gene pool. But they are cowards, always have been, always will be.

As for bush's poll #'s, they'll go down again, there is no salvation on the horizon for this jerk.
