They never say, "I'm sorry. I was wrong." It's becoming all too common to read about stuff Republicans have been caught doing, and never reading a true apology.

They say:

"It was a mistake."

"It was a misjudgment."

"I underestimated the..."

"A staffer did it."

"It was done without my knowledge."

But they never say, "I was wrong. I am sorry."
