I'd love to know what this Daily Show graphic says!

Sam Bee did a piece on tonight's Daily Show, something like "The Enemy Within," and anytime someone disagreed with her, these graphics popped up.

The woman in the pic is Rachel Ray, a Food TV star. She calls extra virgin olive oil "EVOO". It gets on the nerves of quite a few DUers (among others). Rachel Ray recently put her name on her own brand of "EVOO" - which only drove her haters even more nuts. :)

At the bottom is a graphic from Al Jazeera. It is a "Breaking News" graphic that states: New video tape from the number two man in Al Qaeda, Ayman Al-Zawahiri.

Yeah I think they just take old footage from Al Jazeera. I've seen them do the translating bit where they take footage and translate comically what Bin Laden or Al-Maliki or whoever is saying. I didn't see last night's episode but I'm assuming they just took random graphics from an old broadcast. One time Samantha Bee did a feature on Al Jazeera's English language network, and it was quite simply hilarious.

The graphic is from the same video from the South Park episode. This one is just reporting: In the new video, Al-Zawahiri calls for Hamas to adhere to the option of resistance. I wish I was Rami Khori haha. Also, my translations aren't foolproof, but they're better than MEMRI translations of Arab media ;-)
