Pauline returned to the US in October of 1924. On June 8, 1925, she gave birth to Barbara.

Now even assuming she got busy with her husband the minute she came home (which is entirely possible) then the standard 9 months would have produced a child in July, not early June. Unless Babs was a preemie, which probably would have been officially noted in Bush Crime Family history somewhere, if that were the case.

So in terms of mathematics, the odds of Babs being a Crowley, rather than a Pierce are pretty good.....
