bu$h* says 'No-confidence' vote won't affect HIS government.
Edited on Mon Jun-11-07 10:04 AM by spanone
~snip~ “They can try to have their votes of no confidence, but it’s not going to determine — make the determination who serves in my government,” Mr. Bush said, adding, “This process has been drug out a long time, which says to me it’s political.”

I could have sworn it was government of the people? Silly Me.

1. True. It's sad that so many of "we, the people" have abdicated from their/our responsibilities as
keepers of the democracy.

2. Yet another good reason for Congress to start impeachment
proceedings against Bush and Cheney.

Just a little reminder of how things are SUPPOSED to work in America. Not Bush's America, OUR America.

Impeach the little bastard and shut him up.

7. Bush isn't worried - he never has been
He has never been held accountable for his actions and he doesn't expect to be now...it's his government as long he's not held accountable. If he can marginalize the other 2 branches(by whatever means) - and those marginalized branches don't stop him - for whatever reasons - then it is his government.

He's rubbing our faces in it now.

8. My sentiments exactly
Lincoln's quote...."government of the people, by the people and FOR the people". Something the republican administration of bush the lesser seems to forget.
