This one spends the first main paragraph making his point, then the rest of the letter is unrelated attacks, including all your favorite hits like "Socialism," "Chappaquiddick" and "rich liberals don't really care about the common man." Observe, enjoy, and rebut, please:
" Reader disputes criticism of Pitts
Karen Porter states in her letter of May 30 that Joe Pitts is “criticizing Sen. Ted Kennedy’s federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP).” It looks like Karen has it all wrong again.
Joe Pitts is, in fact, speaking up for FFELP and against Sen. Kennedy’s plans to cut funding for the program. Ted is in favor of the governmen-run Direct Lending Program. Not coincidentally, Direct Lending did not save the borrowers or taxpayers anything, and FFELP provides more services, too.
I suppose Ted Kennedy just wants the government to run everything, no matter how much it costs and how inefficiently it runs. Another name for this concept is “socialism.” Karen, something tells me you like this concept, too!
As far as Joe Pitts championing welfare for the rich, may I point out a dirty little overlooked fact about Ted Kennedy? Teddy’s filthy rich! If Joe Pitts had been behind the wheel in Chappaquiddick that night, he’d probably still be in jail! So much for the good judgment of the voters of Massachusetts!

Neither senator from Massachusetts has much going for them, other than quite a few million dollars in the bank! One was born into it, and the other married it!"
