I just heard Barack Obama give his speech in WV and I must say I
was thrilled with the great response he received. I listened, didn't see how big the crowd was. I'm thinking, according to what I could hear, he may do a lot better in WV than we are being led to believe. I certainly would be something if he came within under 10% of HRC in her win there. Do I assume too much???

1. Seeing the description of Hillary's WV base in
The Daily Dish today (http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2008/05/cue-the-banjo.html), I'm not too hopeful for a close race, , but the response to his speech WAS strong, so maybe a miracle will happen. I saw a bit on cnn.com, and the room looked to be a large gym, and it was totally full.

2. That would be so great if he could make it closer
than what I keep hearing it's going to be on the MSM. I would so love for Obama to get so far ahead especially in the popular vote that whatever the Clinton campaign says it's inconsequential. Damn, I'm dreading what they are going to say on cable news channels if HRC wins by a big margin tomorrow. I think they will say anything to keep this race going for their ratings. :-(

3. If he only wins one-fourth of the WV delegates (7 of 28), he still has it in the bag.
Hillary could win 75% to 25% and it wouldn't affect the outcome. :D
