In the spirit of keeping this board active, I'll "report" here rather than GD-P! :)
Charlie Gibson interviewed Obama, asking him about what happened this week. Obama said he closed a big gap but not all the way. He had been 20 points behind. He thinks people started saying "wait a minute", wondering if he was getting a free ride. Said people forget what an insurgent campaign they are waging and how lucky they are to be where they are today. On HRC going negative: he's going to "make sure charges don't go unanswered" and will return the line of questioning to her--like the issue of transparency. Said McCain and HRC "believe life begins when you arrive in Washington" and consider anything he's done before that irrelevant, and then he ticked off the things he'd done before getting to the Senate. He's going to stay focused on what he has been doing to succeed up until now.
A nice interview, and a he had a big smile and looked very sincere when he said, "thanks, Charlie". :) :)
