JK sent this GOTV email on Obama's behalf to his Potomac Primary state lists today

(This is the Virginia version of the email -- locally-customized versions of the same email were sent to Maryland and D.C. voters as well.)

Don't forget to vote tomorrow!

The Democratic nomination battle is still white hot.

But after sweeping the contests, both caucuses and primaries, this past weekend -- coast to coast, North and South, in the Pacific Northwest and across the Midwest, Barack Obama’s campaign is definitely growing -- and it's being driven by people power.

And now this historic contest moves to Virginia. Tomorrow, the eyes of the world will be on the Virginia Democratic primary.

The Virginia primary may never have been so important. And in the tight battle for the Democratic nomination, the choice of the people of Virginia will have a major say in how this election season goes.

So I hope you’ll go out and vote tomorrow.

No matter whom you support, please go out and vote.

But when you do vote, I hope you’ll join Governor Tim Kaine and me in supporting Barack Obama.

The Obama campaign has created a great tool for you to find your polling location:

On Sunday, Barack Obama proved he could win in states across the country, from the northeast in Maine to the south in Lousiana, on the plains in Nebraska and the northwest coast of Washington.

Barack Obama's campaign for change is gaining strength, and his vision and his tested ability to bring people together will bring real change to Washington, D.C. -- change we need right now.

This is a vital moment in our nation’s history -- with a struggling economy squeezed by huge energy bills and soaring health care costs, a foreign policy in tatters from the disastrous policies of the Bush Administration, and a planet in peril threatened by global climate change.

We don’t have time to wait for incremental change, and we don’t have the luxury of spending time refighting the battles of the past -- we need real transformational change, not just another transition.

That’s the difference Barack Obama can make for America.

So please go out and vote for Barack Obama tomorrow. And if you'd like to learn more about how you can help with his campaign in Virginia, just go here:

Thank you,
John Kerry

P.S. -- With so many new voters energized by this campaign, there's been some confusion in other states. So, when you go to vote in Virginia tomorrow, please remember to keep these rules in mind:

* Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. You are entitled to vote if you are in line by 7:00 p.m. when the polls close.

* Unless you are a first-time voter, you do not need to show ID at the polling place. Instead, you must sign an "Affirmation of Identity" statement before voting.

* You have the right to vote a Provisional Ballot if your status as a qualified voter is in question, and you have the right to be present when the Electoral Board meets to determine if your ballot will be counted.

* You have the right to vote using a regular ballot even if your status as a qualified voter is challenged, provided that: your name appears on the voter registration list; you present a valid ID; and you sign an affirmation stating that you meet the requirements to be a qualified voter.
