1. Yes, and it's all
good. Bless Cindy's heart..bush didn't even have the fortitude to come out and talk to her breaking heart.

But, Nancy was meant to do this..that's her path.

2. Sometimes I get perturbed at Cindy
but it doesn't last long......she lost her son in a war that should never have been.....her heart is forever broken and her desire to oust Nancy was understandable but if Nancy had made impeaching or prosecuting Bush her mission we probably would never have gotten Obama nor would she have ever been in a position to prove what a great Speaker she could be.

3. I feel the same way. I met Cindy a couple of times just after Casey died. She's a wonderful lady but
... you are right that "her heart is forever broken." I don't think she always makes the best decisions, but I cannot judge her and hope that she and her family some day find peace.

As for that day she went to Bush's pig ranch -- he truly behaved like a boor and a pig himself, letting her and her escorts stand in the Texas sun until she got sick from the heat. He could have looked like a gentleman, at the very least, by sending out some bottles of cold water.

4. I lost a great deal of respect for her when she became a parody of herself.
Because I think she lost a lot of credibility when she did that.

Obviously I hurt for her. The thought of losing a child, that way, is just horrible.

But it doesn't excuse some of the stuff she has said or done over the last couple of years. Like saying the Democrats were the cause of all major war over the last century. That didn't work for Bob Dole when he said it in '76 and it doesn't work now for her.

5. She's an example of what happens when one doesn't compromise.
I'll give her credit for not compromising and giving up a great deal in pursuit of her goal but that same spirit cost her much of her support and whatever support she might have been able to gain.

6. And replace her with WHO, exactly?
Cindy lost her credibility when she started injecting herself into the I/P discussion.
