1. That vogue thing --- a president?
Looks as though she nearly blew her lie. See if anyone else catches it?

3. I hate her so much
Democrats should all know that if she wins Texas and Ohio the entire party will be torn up until at least the convention.

32. As we have seen at a recent thread, low post counts does not mean a newbie
as there are many who have been here for a long time and just lurk.

But this person is a recent joiner and one has to wonder whey expression of hatred is one of the first to express. So, yes, there is a difference when someone has been here for a while, and posted many opinions where such hatred is, one hope, does not dominate that person's contribution to DU.

31. Why, why do you hate her so much? What has she ever done to you
and is this why you joined DU? To spread hatred? Most of us joined to find people of common interest.

How sad that one of your first posts is so venomous.

5. I think I'd like Hillary more if i saw her like this more often.
One big qualm that I and a lot of people have about her is that she always seems to be so scripted, like she's acting. The Hillary in this video seems like a normal, sincere person just chatting with her acquaintances. It's a shame we don't see more of this.

6. I agree.
The irony is, she has made this run for President much harder than it needed to be. If she could have only been more relaxed and true to herself, along with her tremendous knowledge of events and policy, she would have had the kind of appeal that the public seeks. But, as a woman running a serious campaign for President, she is in uncharted waters.

27. Remember corporate media selects what we hear and see
You never see a footage like this on TV, because it is too normal and not newsworthy. I always assume that everything on TV is biased.

17. Looks to me like she was having fun
Evidently you didn't hear about her early forays on the bus of the "important" media pundits. When she tried to talk policy she was being too wonky. Then she tried to be engaging and friendly. She was met with stony silence. Afterward, they trashed her.

Subsequently, I read an article that quoted several prominent media types. They all admitted to not liking her. They admitted that the candidate they "like" the best gets the most favorable coverage(see Bush coverage vs Gore/Kerry coverage). This looks to be a different group of reporters. Perhaps local media?

21. Hell, the media HAS been hard on her. As someone else already mentioned...
...and it needs to be said again, there was that incident in January with the bus of campaign reporters who gave her stony silence when she so graciously gave out coffee and doughnuts to them. And have you seen how the media have been putting out a preponderance of negative coverage of her, no matter what she does? Her wins are not real wins; her losses are decisive; she's 'shrill' when she expresses a firmness and assertiveness, she's 'emotional and weak' if she gives out a sigh from exhaustion. She can't win with these guys.

This group of reporters seem to be a different cadre altogether. I also do wish we got to see more of this wonderful side of this very smart, funny woman!

23. One thing I've always respected about her:
She's so darn comfortable in her own skin. She looks great in a hoodie, in a suit, whatever. She's comfortable with her smile, her wrinkles, her laugh. I've always been impressed by that.

28. Some fine examples of bitches in this post. Jeez! What is the matter with people?
I am not a CLinton supporter but she doesn't make me sick. Bush yes, cheney yes, Gary Bauer eeeewww! If you hate Clinton that much you might want to examine the source. The Repukes have been poisoning the waters for years so be careful you aren't drinking it. (I think it is funny that after all their work making people hate her that they will probably not be running against her.)Disagree with policy, fine. Save you revulsion for the neocons.

do you really think that the media people in her plane in such a tight place are going to bash her?

Recommending the clip, not your comment.

34. SNL
I think SNL may have jumped the shark with that sketch. The show has been running on fumes for a while now, trying to maintain the facade of being young and hip, when it has really become stodgy and out-of-touch. This inane fantasy about Hillary's "mistreatment" by the press may just have blown their cover forever.

35. It wasn't about "mistreatment" of Hillary
The skit was about the insane fanfare for Obama built up by corporate media, although it is true that 90% of what we see about Hillary on TV are negative. If you don't see that, I think you are the one who needs a reality check.
