Go to the 6:37 mark or so and you can hear her say "really proud," not just "proud." Faux News edited it out. This isn't her whole speech, but it includes the part in question.

There were 2 speeches. One where she said "really" and one where she didn't. Helloooo, any one out there?

Edited for spelling.

3. Thom Hartmann played the one the r/w is using, and you can hear the beginning of
the "r..." where the word "really" has been edited out. He also said you can see her lips moving though the sound was deleted when she said it.

5. There is another thread here that has BOTH of them.
Please look for it. It clearly shows she said "really" in one and not in the other. It's not bullshit.

2. K&R! The gall of these people. Hope Keith covers this tonight.
You know, Hillary isn't kidding when she says she has the experience dealing with these monsters. It's nothing to sneeze at. I hope the Obama team learns -- and fast-- that they have to be ready to fire back IMMEDIATELY.

7. Fasten your seat belts,
we're in for one hell of a ride. Clinton's has taken money from Murdock. Could it be a coincidence that FOX has been reported to "edit out" the word "really." The neocons have no shame. I have no doubt they will lie, steal, cheat and insure millions won't be allowed to vote.

My solution is to have a shorter election cycle and regulate these treasonous bastards into losing their billions of empire.

8. The point is that she has been misunderstood.
To be fair, Michelle Obama did not phrase what she meant to say very well. But taken IN CONTEXT her meaning, to anyone with half a brain, understands what she was saying. Just as Barack has said, she was saying that for the first time in her adult life she is feeling a unique and very powerful sense of pride in our politics because people are taking real interest, participating in record numbers, and starting to come together in ways she has never seen before. The one thing I will say though is that SHE should make a new speech and clarify her remarks sooner rather than later. * For anyone to take her out of context and attack her patriotism is VERY wrong, very unfair, and very foolish.

9. really or not
it was a careless and unfortunate thing to say

leftists are constantly attacked as unpatriotic by the right wing...in every context... 9/11, iraq war, workers' rights, etc.....

so it was very careless for someone whose hubby is in politics to make that remark

regardless of its justification, the remark is being used by rightwingers and it can alienate many potential voters, it can resonate
