This was the first campaign I followed closely from the beginning (due to age, not political apathy in the past). While I supported Edwards in 2004 I was not nearly as passionate then as I am now. It is hard to deal with this. :(

9. Hurting All Over... Didn't WANT To Watch It... But I HAD To!

I don't listen to much country, who was singing? Nice touch at the end, but the shots of Edwards were Super.

I don't she'll mind, but one of the VERY BEST PICTURES of John Edwards is the full face that bobbolink uses a lot. I think it was first used by another person, I WOULD love to know how to do this and keep the picture as a reminder of WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN!

Anyone know the picture I'm talking about?? It's just beautiful and shines like he does! I, like so many of his supporters may well be "crying" for a very long time.

I am once again AVOIDING MSM, did he get any "good" coverage tonight. Did ANYONE say good things about him. I was watching BEFORE he gave his speech and even then it was mostly about who he will endorse! If it were me, I'd go with neither of the front two! I don't know who he can endorse, I'm sure no matter WHO it is, he'll get scammed!

One thing he could do is ENDORSE his supporters! I don't think I've ever seen such an outpouring of loyalty and respect for ANY candidate who "bowed out!" And I've been around since they shot Bobby, remember John, but was young even though even THAT hit me hard. But it was BOBBY that broke me.

Today it's John Edwards... and I'll NEVER be able to watch some people on TV again! Didn't even watch KO, but I felt he was a Clinton supporter anyway. Not that he hasn't stood up for the American people, but so much was pointed at The Idiot for him, and he has raked HIM over the coals. One of the very very few who spoke for us.

John Edwards did so much better. Even saying he'll be fine as he spoke today, but he wanted to continue to help those less fortunate. What a GREEDY, Money Grubbing country we've become! I checked some of the replies on YouTube... two very nasty ones right up front!

A loss and such a SHAME. They did him DIRTY!!
