1. What's a worse torture?
Seeing and hearing members of the Bush cabal continue their quest to destroy this country's values or water-boarding?

I think I'd choose the water-boarding.

2. Gee, Chuck, when you were ramming this guy through the
confirmation process, you told all the rest of us, who were worried that he would harbor and protect the torturers, to shove it.

Look at the strange fruit that the tree of your (hubris? ignorance? complicity? naivete?) has bourne.

3. disturbing
That the AG of the United States can sit before a Congressional Judiciary panel and make those types of absurd statements should make every American shudder in fear. That the Senate Judiciary committee did not more aggressively pursue the issue based on the legal fact that waterboarding is torture as defined by the McCain amendment passed by Congress just last year and signed and passed into law (signing statements aside) or by the Geneva Conventions which was ratified by Congress and therefore the law of the land and that the UCMJ defines it as torture and a war crime and is forbid from using it for any reason and that the United States prosecuted a Japanese General as a war criminal for waterboarding POWs during WWII, how is it AT ALL UNCLEAR from the perspective of the AG of the United States? How could it but be all but clear to anyone on that panel and watching on TV that this man was being anything other than intellectually dishonest about the subject? That he was out-right refusing to answer the question in a manner that exemplifies the integrity and responsibility beholden to his office? Based on this performance alone, Congress has every right to call for his removal from office as quickly as possible.
