The thing that I REALLY find appalling is that the profiteers, for the most part, didn't even do a good job! We continue to pay them billions of dollars on their contracts, and they do substandard work or don't do it at all.

I send books and DVD's to soldiers through Books For Soldiers ( http://booksforsoldiers.com/ ) and I am continually amazed at the things that soldiers request. Basic things like pillowcases (yes, no pillowcases in 120 degree heat).
