Is this simply a fight for control of the Democratic Party?

The Kennedy's were pissed off when the Clinton's created the DLC and took over the Party and took the party to the RIGHT. Is this simply a chance for the OLD Guard to take control of the Party back? Did Obama make a deal?

Is this more a Dynastic war more than anything else?
