Obama needs to either admit he made mistakes or defend himself. Voting "present" is a cop out, and now he says they weren't substantive issues. I'm not buying it.

I would think he's aware that Obama's "present" votes had to do with signalling that there was an objectionable amendment. And if he so respects Obama's right to defend a vote, he should have stopped interrupting and let him answer the question.
