1. The Iowa'ns must have forgotten to check their "tolerance Fatigue'
because a state that is mostly all pudgy white, middle class, farmer, God Fearin, corn growin, and cow raising, Americans just showed up in record numbers to show their support for a "Black Man". Maybe it has something to do with his intellect, his grace, his amazing ability to unify people and create belief in our future as a nation. Maybe it has more to do with his background of service and devotion to making our nation a better place for all of US than his race. Maybe it has more to do with the incredible history of working tirelessly for the very things our nation needs to change or fix or instigate that made all those TIRED WHITE PEOPLE vote for him.

4. Your post kind of proves a point...
You don't seem to love people like "them."

Pot and kettle. :dunce:

2. I'm actually more fatigued about getting my hopes up
for politicians who promise that we will all "work together". That doesn't work.

3. Ditto that!
"Are we really ready to vote for a black man?" ... Ridiculous question.

I'm sorry, but I'm not voting for ANY person because they are simply black or a woman, EVEN THOUGH I would really like to see a minority as POTUS. If the best minority candidates that the Democratic Party can offer up is Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, I'm passing on both... I'll be good with Edwards this time around.

5. I'm fatigued about people who are fatigued. Is that all politics is today? "Me me me or else"?
If they don't satisfy *you*, then you want nothing to do with them and are ready to sandbag the party, I guess. I'm tired of people whining about how tired they are. People in Kenya would love to come here and be tired about the choice between several candidates.

6. Assuming A Black President
...will be progressive, populist, concerned about the poor & social ills, etc., is racist.

7. K&R.
As a Californian, I painfully remember the night the late, great Tom Bradley --- who still is the best mayor Los Angeles ever had --- was defeated in his quest for the governorship of my state after polls had shown him far ahead of the Republican.

This video is spot on the mark and I hope you will pass it along to others.

Tom Bradley should have been my Governor. It broke my heart the night he lost. I miss Tom Bradley.
