These people have been genuinely touched by what it is to have Edwards in their life. I don't understand the reaction some have against that. I worked in the service industry for over 15 years, I know a bullshitter when I see them, and John Edwards is the real thing.

20. Thank you, I just realized why I had so much trouble

connecting to Clinton or Obama when I was searching for a candidate to support. They really didn't seem like they knew what it was like to be "in the trenches" with us common folk. And when Danny Glover said that he and Edwards went and talked to the hotel staff down in the kitchen, that tells me something. I've waited more tables and washed more dishes than I care to remember, but it was good honest work. I'm tired of politicians saying and promising nothing, except rainbows and butterflies. I want a worker, someone who would get down there and wash those dishes because they have to get done. John and Elizabeth Edwards seem like those type of people. I want them to lead this country.
