Give the "second tier" guys some questions in the debates once in a while! Good questions. With time to answer. Then maybe people like me who don't live in N.H. or those first primary states might actually still have some choice when it comes to our turn to vote.

You can tell Thompson has acting experience--he's doing a monologue in his head or at least making sure his face looks like it. Biden's facial ticks look funny and make him look less presidential than he normally does. You can tell he's not an actor.

19. Thompson's mouth is always frowning.

The ends of his lips are pointed downward. He looks angry all the time -- not good for a presidential candidate. Biden is not always smiling, but at least he doesn't always look like he is pouting or is angry. Wow! I like Thompson even less after this. I used to know someone whose lips almost always and very naturally pointed down all the time. That isn't just a natural phenomenon. As you age, your muscles get trained a certain way. It looks to me like Thompson has been a very angry, unhappy man for a long time. Can't we have a president with a bit of an optimistic view? Someone who finds joy in life?
