Since the issue of democrats refusing to debate on Fox News came up again (unless I'm mistaken, someone suggested that the democrats *should* go on Fox to debate), I thought it would be interesting to raise the issue of how we should view Fox News in general.

Olbermann does raise a good point about the potential for an opinion media war, but ultimately I think he agrees with Cenk's point.

This topic also generated some interesting discussion here:

1. Since I was PM'd about it I'm sure someone else is curious...
The YouTube link worked this morning and it seems to be working now too, *at least for me*.

But yes, The Young Turks have been suspended from YouTube (funny and absurd story actually) so TYT clips are not available...hopefully it's temporary.

2. FOX DOES do real investigative reporting

It's just obviously slanted toward one side. They're always digging into the personal lives of John Edwards or Al Gore.

Clearly, the fair and balanced stuff is bullshit.

My favorite Fox moments are when Brit Hume or somebody that's supposed to be an "objective" reporter (obviously guys like O'Riely and Barnes aren't intended to be held to the same standards) will be talking about some legislation and refer to the Republicans as "we." As in, "we got the estate tax repealed."
