2. I loved the five contest winners -
Real people helping out because they care. That says a lot about Edwards' supporters - yourself included! O8)

7. Thank you for the kind remark, it was very dear of you and I consider myself to be in very good
company.....:grouphug: ... DU has been on fire for the last 24hrs or so with many many flaming threads that are meaningless.......for the most part, many John Edwards supporters are very positive and I have noticed that seldom do Edwards supporters jump into threads just to flame them.......we need to keep the faith and positive focus, just like this OP.

12. I was there in New Orleans and will post my video soon
I have the video on the National Climate
Change Day too as well as some I made in New Hampshire this week.

It was a wonderful day in New Orleans and meeting the winners and JRE was great.

13. That will be great to see -
Your videos are always a pleasure! I wish I could have been there, lived there from 1989 to 2002 and still have many family members and friends there. Edwards continuous exposure to this plight is one of the many reasons I support him. Thanks!

8. Pivotal point for our country.
We have the chance to make history by either WHAT we put in the oval office or WHO we put in the oval office. Either way, history will be made. The question is, are we focused on the history of the White House or the history of the nation? A candidate who focuses on the people would be better than a candidate who breaks traditions. This candidate represents the people. This candidate represents me.

11. Campaign Ad
I am not trying to be mean I am just wondering if this is a campaign ad or if it is scheduled to be a campaign ad. If it is not, I contend it should be, especially the part about everyone being in other states while Edwards is in New Orleans. Even though there should not be talk about other stuff besides Edwards' ideas putting what Edwards is doing in New Orleans might help to make up for that or just make it irrelevant.

18. not an ad
But I do agree that it certainly could be, with some prudent editing.

The campaign has been videotaping Edwards's campaign events and posting little vignettes like this to You Tube regularly -- they're using the medium very effectively, IMO. Now we just have to get "eyes" on the clips!

15. I will be seeing John Edwards next weekend in Reno NV...
This will be the first time I've ever gone to a town hall meeting and I'm really hoping for a chance to ask him a question. (Or two.) Any ideas?

16. Ask him what color drapes
he'll have in the Oval Office. Sorry, couldn't help it. I would ask him about his plan to righting the wrongs that NAFTA and other trade agreements that have cost this country dearly. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :)
