1. Oh, so what ...
DK is still my candidate ... he's still the only candidate that was right about the Patriot Act and the IWR; he's still the only candidate for marriage equality. He's still the only candidate that understands that we need SINGLE-PAYER, universal health coverage, etc., etc.

2. As DK points out he didn't know what it was
so that makes it a UFO, but he never said he saw little green men now did he? This was meant to slant his campaign and Obama couldn't resist the jab at him for it either.

3. Whatever. UFOs, Jesus...
Neither are more ridiculous than the other. It was an irrelevant question.

4. the order of questions was no accident...
Dipshit Russert first asks the UFO question in order to hold Kucinich up to ridicule, but then follows that up with the question to Obama, beginning with "the Apollo astronauts believe in alien life."

In fact, the Apollo astronauts would apparently be "crazier," in Russert-world: Kucinich wasn't talking about being abducted, just that he saw an unidentified craft, whereas the astronauts are the ones directly stating they believe in aliens. So, I guess the Apollo astronauts are a bunch of crazy weirdos who should be greeted with snickers from the audience, too?

Russert says it's a "serious question," but would he ever question Bush in a debate about being told by God to attack Iraq? He's just doing his part to paint Kucinich as the crazy troll who I guess gets his orders from the Greys.

5. There is a big difference to spotting something in the sky and declaring alien kidnapp...

... there are a variety of objects that enter our atmostphere that get minsconstrued as Unidentified Flying Objects and the like. I'm impressed that Dennis was honest about it he could of just dodged. Whatever may occur Dennis would be straight with the American people.

Although with the saucer shaped sightings one theory is that they aren't spaceships but ghosts. Who knows there are things in life we can't always be certain on. I'm open minded, but there are clearly some that eleborate things they see at night and some that genuinely see various meteorites enter our atmostphere.

6. Why not? Marginalize the only candidate who's right on all the key issues, sure.
This country's fucked anyway, might as well get in a few laughs.

11. UFOs are real, here is why..
Edited on Wed Oct-31-07 10:56 AM by tesla78
Some may laugh and joke about it but it is a serious issue. These crafts have been documented by astronauts, military, pilots, police, and other credible sources. They have been clocked at thousands of miles per hour, fly underwater at high speeds and display huge amounts of kinetic and electrical energy. UFOs could hold the key to abundant & clean free energy.

Disclosure Project is a good site to start if you don't know much about the UFO issue.

14. Stephen Greer has compiled some of the most credible witnesses and they
are willing to swear to their statements in a court of law. I've been aware of Greer since 1991. This country is so afraid of the giggle factor, that we're not willing to pursue this and find out what is going on. There have been a couple of times when I thought this would be blown wide open -
the National Press Club thing, for example, but nothing ever comes of it.

12. Where did Pustart come up with that?
Did he go to the Month Python School of Silly Journalism?

"And the first question is for you, Karl Marx. The Hammers -- the Hammers is the nickname of what English football team?" :silly::silly:

13. How come Dennis does not get a chance to respond?
Dennis was helping himself with his response.

If they are going to ask the question, Dennis Kucinch deserves a reasonable chance to respond.

Shame on the media.

Where is the video where Dennis scolds the media for beating the drums of war with Iran and earlier Iraq?

15. Because it wasn't a "real" question. It was solely to paint Kucinich as a nut.

I think Obama did well with his response - not negating the possibility and therefore not alienating those who have had sightings themselves.

This little "joke" on Dennis absolutely enrages me.
