2. Sums up why I started going to the Plaza...
I have so many reasons for attending protest events. But, the thing that really got me is when our Sheriff took signs down. Our local sheriff really doesn't care about the law, he just wants to look good to his corporate masters, so he tears down signs and tents and cuts off electricity even though it is in the by laws that protesters can pay a nominal fee for use of electricity. In any case, I thought we were past the days of having to defend our First Amendment rights, I was wrong so very wrong.
