The Resident is Lori Harfenist

For the past 7 years, Lori Harfenist has been producing, hosting, editing, posting, pimping, and running “The Resident” for both TV and the Internet.

Because this work is an ultra-massive source of income, Lori produces, edits, and hosts video content for corporate and network clients just for fun. Over the years, she has worked with great people at companies like E! Networks, DirecTV, CNN, FoxNews, Atari, Nike, UGO, Macy's, and Fun Little Movies. Feel free to download a pdf of her production and hosting resume.

Lori graduated cum laude with a BA in Communications: Writing for the Media, from Pace University in New York City, and she attended the School for Film and Television.

2. because of fatuous surveys like this?
"So why does everyone think Americans are stupid?" What kind of answers did she expect? But hey, maybe it lost me when her first person on the street is asked, "Do you think Americans are lazy or just stupid?" Answer: "Well, that may be true of people in the midwest or those who don't read papers..."

I give this little high school science project a D-

3. I'd rather watch Youtube than the professionals....
Hopefully we can get the internet hooked up to the TV and get rid of the MSM all together.

8. A nice idea, but...
She should ask the question thats' the title of the thread, "Why do people hate America?" and she should be asking American nationals instead of immigrants. This question was a national obsession for about a month, emblazoned on the covers of magazines and newspapers, argued by stuffy centrists who dance around the issue and focus on trivialities. The biggest failure of the American press is NOT answering this question. Bush fumbled the ball, too, no doubt. We had the sympathy of the world, he could have led us into an age of unity and cooperation that has never been seen before, instead, he wasted all that goodwill, now we are hated more than ever before. However, the press bear a huge part of the responsibility as well. They could not control the actions of the administration, but they could inform the public, give them understanding and closure in the aftermath of this atrocity, they could've shown the American people at least the error of our ways, so that this might not happen again. Like Bill Maher said, this question was and obsesion, then we basically decided it must be "Because we're so great." There was no mention of how the CIA organized the overthrow of Mossadegh's government in Iran, turning a friendly, pro-western constitutional democracy into a nightmarish police state where agents of SAVAK rounded people up and executed and tortured them for decades. They didn't think to analyze how we are the biggest arms supplier to Israel, who has repeatedly invaded it's neighbors, holds thousands of prisoners without charges, and tortures them, and seeks to terrorize and destroy the Palestinian refugees. They only made passing reference to American military bases in Saudi Arabia, a stones' throw from Mecca, Islam's holiest place. Lastly, they only skimmed over Ronald Reagan's poorly conceived plan to train a terrorist army, including Osama Bin Laden, and arm them to the teeth, without any thoughts of the repercussions. Then we might've actually learned something.
