1. Gays are not the only ones who are not permitted to donate. I was

refused because of hepatitis when I was a young adult.

2. There is a difference. Also, no one said gays were the only ones not allowed to donate.

Gays are disqualified on the basis of perceived possible behavior and exposure to HIV. The policy outlawing gays from donating are outdated and discriminatory.
