Some of president Obama's strongest supporters are outraged by the terrible debt ceiling deal and the fact that Obama proposed cutting social security and Medicare when Republicans didn't even ask for those cuts. Cenk Uygur explains.

1. When Fascism came to Italy, it didn't need tanks and weapons.
Unlike Pinochet's Chile, Fascism came not from force but from capitulation. It merely took the other side to give in for the Republican Fascist Party of Italy to take over.

Take the pledge and resist the Republican Fascist party even if our elected President is willing to capitulate.

"I will commit to being in Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C., with others on that day or the days immediately following, for as long as I can, with the intention of making it our Tahrir Square, Cairo, our Madison, Wisconsin, where we will NONVIOLENTLY resist the corporate machine by occupying Freedom Plaza to demand that America's resources be invested in human needs and environmental protection instead of war and exploitation. We can do this together. We will be the beginning."

2. Americans too stupid, too lazy

There should have been a general strike when Mr. O & Mr. Bush proposed bail outs for criminals. There should have been another one when Mr. O refused to give public option a seat at the table. And another one, when Mr. extended Bush tax cuts for billionaires and millionaires.

5. As A minority I am having mixed feeling about this
I was taught along time ago if your enemy is destroying himself LET HIM! I have as alot of other minorities felt the pinch of this down turn for alot longer then most whites and find it kinda funny that now when I look at places like this site you NOW care hehehe funny. I do LOVE this nation even though for the life of me I really cant explain why and don't want to see it go under but...... I don't see how me getting mad is going to change a thing for me minorities are ALWAYS the last ones to make a buck here in the U.S and helping a bunch of people who NEVER seem to be able to look past their own noses is to me a WASTE of time .
