Not all police are brutal, power-mad tyrants. Sadly, some are, and citizens like you and I are the only ones who can hold them accountable for their actions. What happens when we're not allowed to do that for fear of punishment? Does anyone care?

4. America has been sliding into Fascism since those two lying Supreme

Court nominees, Roberts and Alito, testified under oath that they would respect precedent, then threw out about 100 years worth when they voted to make corporations persons who would allow unlimited Big Corporate Greed Money Billionaires to elect candidates of their choice and avoid paying their fair share of taxes, IMHO.

Fact: 90% of our elections are won by the candidate with the most money.

5. Transparancy engenders trust.

Opacity engenders fear.

A vicious cycle is created where people are afraid of police. They are understandably unwilling to comply with police orders to submit because they do not know how they will be treated. Now police wind up becoming more forceful, and the use of force becomes more frequent, thus causing people to become more fearful and more resistant to their authority.

The ONLY way to stop this ever increasing cycle of distrust and violence is to get interactions between police and citizens recorded and publicly available.

That way, as police are held accountable for obvious and severe misconduct, there are fewer occasions of brutality. As there are fewer occasions of brutality, the public can feel more assured that the police will not harm them. As a result, the police can expect better co-operation.

In the meanwhile, the corrupt PoS animals with badges can be weeded out of law enforcement.

I'm going to listen to someone rant from their bedroom for quarter of an hour ?

Yes police are abusing their powers, yes the abuse of wiretapping laws are bad, yes they have been tested in court, yes they were found to be invalid and thrown out, yes there are states who are implementing direct video taping laws, yes these can all be nullified by public recordings security systems, cruiser dash cams etc.


Put something coherent and intelligent together please - you are addressing highly intelligent people of fourty+ years old here with degrees in liberal humanities, masters and phd's in law, philosophy, ethics etc- not just that cam in your monitor.
