According to the video's poster:

...after this I put out a lot of bowls and such full of water! We love the wildlife out here though ... we live in the country, so we get armadillos, deer, coyotes and even foxes! I'm sure they're all going to come out for water now!

1. Cute but what? Just cute.
Poor thing. I am so glad they have put water out for the wildlife, since it is apparent that they really need a source.

3. ...cute, but makes you think about all the animals who don't have benefactors.
Not to mention people.

This is going to be a deadly, deadly Summer.

2. Poor thing. Just like the koalas in Australia. Climate change hurts EVERYONE
and we need to get serious about slowing it down ASAP.

5. He's cute
they are sort of vermin in these parts. They carry a strain of leprosy and dig holes that livestock can break legs in. They are very docile and nearly blind. I was taking pictures of this one for maybe 10 minutes before he even knew I was standing a foot away from him.

8. They do.
Edited on Wed Jun-22-11 12:59 AM by Mojorabbit
The make a snuffling noise and a little chirping noise. They use a litter box even as babies and have very good memories. They are one of the few animals that will share their burrows with other species.

9. Armadillos are very near-sighted.
If you stand very still they will feed around you and never know that you are there.

That one is a cutie. Small baby.

10. 'Dillos are cute but they make lousy housepets if you have houseplants.
Edited on Wed Jun-22-11 11:24 AM by flamin lib
Aside from the slim possibility of leprosy they dig for worms and grubs. You'll wake up to find every houseplant dug up and dirt scattered alllllll over the place. Same goes for skunks.

11. Armadillos and skunks and such are not meant to be pets
so that should not be a problem for anyone.
