From Michele Bachman's "coming out" intro on Hardball in 2008. Like Joe McCarthy with lipstick, she said the media needs to, “take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and find out—are they pro-America or anti-America?” Remember?

She also said, “I‘m very concerned that he (Obama) may have anti-American views.”

As for me, I think Katrina vanden Heuvel should run for President in 2016.

I'm sure they're hoping Michele will be more open to direction than Sarah is.

4. Bachman is dangerous.

I think she will soften her hate-speech a bit on the campaign trail to appeal to a wider audience who perhaps hasn't noticed her until now. But she is every bit as lunatic as this clip suggests, so we need to dust off these old clips of her and keep them front and center. Her Teahadist fan-base won't be scared off by this stuff-- to the contrary!!-- but it should give Independents pause at the very least.
