2. Thom reports that
European nations are being strongly encouraged to ban cell phones and wireless devices in schools.

Of course in this country, it's "buyer beware."

Parents of school age children should see this.

3. it certainly makes sense to avoid too much radiation, especially kids should not use cell phones
I always try to hold mine away from my head. Wireless devices are so convenient, it's hard to avoid them altogether!

6. Good advice - only caveat being that so much of the real danger is
The electro smog now surrounding everyone almost everywhere from the antennae on the hillsides.

The cell phone towers are ubiquitous and even people like my husband and I feel the effects of being surrounded by thi8s stuff. We don't own a cell phone any longer - yet we are powerless to stop the cell phone companies from bombarding us with the micro wave smog.

5. K&R.
We've let so many dangers filter into our daily lives and keep cutting budgets for monitoring them and enforcing controls.

And we haven't even accepted the will of the US public to make healthcare a right and not a privilege even as our country races forward with reckless oil exploration, nuclear power and other dangers.

What an amazingly cruel country this is. We allow all kinds of endangerment of public health and don't accept taxpayers' desires to have their support go to national health insurance.

At least with free medical care we could have some protection from these new technologies.
