This is the antidote to the 7,851,260,432 oogly-googly threads about William & Kate a couple of weeks back. This Germanic clan (they changed their name to Windsor during World War I) is a bunch of racist, xenophobic, revenue-devouring welfare cases whom I can easily see objecting to---and taking measures against---any goddam Ay-rab putting his dong into one of their boys' property. (And, if you're wondering if my Scottish-Irish ancestry has something to do with my hatred of these leeches, the answer is a resounding Yes!)

1. I just don't see how they could have planned it.

I think they changed drivers at the last minute and took off and how did they know where the crash would happen unless the driver agreed to off himself doing it?

4. You forget the 'mystery car' that was seen coming out of the tunnel?

The theory being that it had forced Diana's car into the abutment, then sped away. How would a change of drivers affect that?

What route they would take so they could turn the cameras off?

Fortuitous circumstance. If the crash was deliberate they'd have used a car that was untraceable in any case, with fake or no plates, sent directly to a car crusher within minutes. They didn't have to worry about turning off cameras.

As for the route, in any city there are prime corridors that you can expect a driver to take, based on knowledge of the city and the person being followed. The assassin would have any number of sites picked out, no matter which route was taken.

It wouldn't have to be any elaborate conspiracy - it's pretty much a one-man operation.

7. The video mentioned how curious it was

that none of the cameras were working.

8. And if they had been working, they'd have seen a reckless driver

causing an accident, then fleeing. The only difference is they wouldn't be able to blame it on the drunk chauffeur. They'd still call it an accident. I think the cameras were irrelevant.
