This machinima film is a fictional message from a post apocalyptic and pro permaculture peace and sustainablility future world to the current day Venus Project and its founders.

What is the Venus Project?
The Venus Project ( http://www.thevenusproject.com/ ) was started
around 1975 (formally called "Sociocyberneering") by Jacque Fresco and
founded on the idea that poverty is caused by the stifling of progress in
technology, which itself is caused by the present world's profit-driven
economic system.

Presenting a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture, resolving the serious problems of unemployment, violent crime, replacement of humans by technology, over-population and a decline in the Earth's ecosystems.

4. We need to encourage the creative efforts of those who share our politics

Nurture their work. This video is not MSM production. This is a single man who has a vision of a better future. One I can appreciate. His message is a positive one and an affirmation of the human spirit.

He put effort into getting out a solid political message. Why would the first response on this thread be to dismiss him like he's beneath contempt?

7. The one thing I have learned in life is that there are a segment

of our society that not only have no vision but that hate anyone that does....they are the ones who will stop progress and change in any way they can.
this is what has held us back for decades and this is what holds us back now, because this group of people hare in charge and in control.
We could have solved many of our problems long ago if we had people with vision in positions of power.

And you have nothing better to do with your time than repeatedly mock your fellow progressives who are taking positive action to try and effect change? This video is a call to a vision of a better future created by a guy who believes we can be better than we are. I guess you prove him wrong, eh? You didn't even look at the video, yet you can judge it. Twice in one thread.

What then have you done to advance progressive causes? You must be an amazing activist that you can look down in disdain on us ordinary people who try to challenge the mainstream media's view of the world by offering our own personal visions. The artists take risks to get their messages out to the world. The editorial writers speak their minds. They risk because they are committed to sharing their talents in the fight progressives wage to create a better world.
