He just doesn't refer to himself as a leftist, but he's all in favor for taxing the rich way more; ending the war in Afghanistan; ending the American 'empire'; taking all necessary measures to fight climate change; having strong unions etc. He just doesn't put party over principle, like you seem to want him to do.

He's saying things that need to be said, but nobody else in the media is willing to say, like the fact that there isn't a 'left' and a 'right' party in the US anymore, only a center-right party and a crazy party. Last week, he pointed out that Obama has given up almost none of the power that Bush illegally grabbed, including warrant-less wiretapping, indefinite detention and ordering the extra-judicial assassination of US citizens.

I don't always agree with him (although a lot of the time I do), and you don't have to either, but your characterization of the man couldn't be more wrong. Oh, and just because he made some politically incorrect jokes that some overly sensitive people didn't like, doesn't make him "a sexist pig". Just so you know.

but when he says something critical, some people think it's the end of the world and exaggerate by saying that he is sooo mean to the poor President. He's a comedian, and thus he jibes Obama. And, sometimes his critiques of Obama are correct, like about sending more troops in to Afghanistan for fighting, not for getting Osama.

Can you give me an example of his "sexism"?

He certainly has blue humour sometimes that's not funny, but I don't remember anything outright sexist. However, I wouldn't put it past him.
