If a person's business requires extra manpower/employees to do the job that the business is doing requires, the owner is not going to say "Oh well forget it. I'm not going to fill those orders because I'm getting my personal income taxed at a higher rate."

And no, most of that 1% who are not being taxed at high enough rate aren't small business owners they are corporate executives and CEO's and CFO's, etc.

If you were and investor who was interested in making money on your investments, would you put your money in a business that could not show a demand (customers) that was greater than whatever the business was supplying? If you owned a restaurant, would you want one rich guy who orders one dinner, even if it is the most expensive thing on the menu, or 100 middle class guys ordering 100 hamburgers?

We will not even begin to solve the obscene unemployment problem in this country until the middle class has enough money to create jobs.
